Advice
The Advice team provides advice to students on academic matters, particularly around non-progression, interruption and withdrawals. We also provide one-to-one advice on School Regulations and Practices, as well as Repeat Teaching, amongst others.
Assessment Regulations
The Assessments Regulations team deals with assessment regulation queries and appeals.
Communications & Events
The Communications & Events team are responsible for delivering a number of key School events and also help to co-ordindate student and staff communication for Student Services. Our specific responsibilities include: Co-ordinating LSE central Welcome activities and maintaining the Your First Weeks web pages; Running LSE's Graduation Ceremonies in London and Beijing; Managing the Off Campus Support Scheme and Co-ordinating communications to students and staff from Student Services. 
Exams & Course Selection
The Exams and Course Selection team deal with queries regarding Exams and Course Selection.
International Student Visa Advice
The ISVAT team is designated to give international students visa advice at LSE.
Registration & Operations
The Registration and Operations team has responsibility for oversight of the Student Services Centre Counter operations, Student programme registration (new and continuing students), administration of LSE Student ID cards, the TfL 18+ Oyster Card scheme, as well as production of student documentation and completion of student verification requests including Higher Education Degree Datachecks (HEDD).
Results & Awards
The Results and Awards team is responsible for a number of tasks relating to the classification, processing and publication of results including: the preparation of marks for School Examination Boards and publication of ratified results; the appointment of External Examiners; processing of Exceptional Circumstance and Deferral requests for taught students; production of Degree Certificates, production of intermediate and final transcripts for taught students; enrolment of Intercollegiate Students.
Visa Compliance & Change of Circumstance
The Visa Compliance and Change of Circumstances team has responsibility for the following:
  • all immigration compliance activities for taught undergraduate and postgraduate students, including issuing documents for further visa applications, reporting changes of status to UKVI, and monitoring attendance;
  • all processes related to updating status and recalculating tuition fees for students after a change in their circumstances, such as interrupting their studies, changing programmes, moving to part-time study mode or permanently withdrawing from their programme;
  • Confirmation of registration/attendance to Student Loans Company for taught undergraduate and postgraduate students;
  • Providing alumni and former students with access to their transcripts via the Digitary system.
